
Teavana Mocktails
Project Overview
Our task was to conceptualize and design an event to be hosted at select Walmart locations, in tandem with a campaign introducing mocktails—a refreshing twist on non-alcoholic teas. The goal was to attract new customers by offering a delicious yet distinct alternative to traditional alcoholic cocktails.
Initial Project Concept: The ask was to concept and design a themed event, along with supporting print and digital advertising to introduce the Teavana mocktail concept. I envisioned a fun, tiki-inspired theme that would showcase an array of fruity, tea-based mocktails capturing the essence of a tropical getaway. The event was imagined as a “tea-ki” bar setup, with themed bartenders, and swings for guests to sit on while they’re served mocktails of their choice.
Scope and Budget Adjustments: After the initial round of creative work, a budget adjustment shifted the project's scope. Instead of the original event, the project expanded to a multi-faceted approach involving print, digital, and in-store sampling events. Despite the shift, the core concept of Teavana tea-ki mocktails remained intact.
My Role
I developed the original concept for the campaign, which was chosen to move forward. From there, I fleshed out the idea, created sketches, and art directed and designed all the pieces included in the final campaign.
The Ask
Teavana needed creative solutions for promoting their mocktail line across multiple channels. The ask was to design a themed event, along with print and digital assets that would introduce customers to this non-alcoholic alternative. The goal was to inspire new customers and build awareness of the mocktail line in-store and online.
Target Audience
Individuals 25-50 seeking non-alcoholic alternatives and current Teavana customers looking for new, refreshing ways to enjoy tea.

The challenge was introducing mocktails as a trendy alternative to traditional cocktails while competing with established alcohol-based options. We had to create a fun, engaging experience that aligned with Teavana’s premium brand and appealed to an audience looking for healthy, flavorful beverages.
